Rusty Wallace Racing's Brendan Gaughan was in the lead with 23 laps to go in the Kroger On Track For The Cure 250 at Memphis Motorsports Park and appeared to be heading to his first career NASCAR Nationwide Series victory.
But a piece of debris on the track ruined it.
"I saw the debris come off, and I was screaming, 'Maybe nobody will notice!Gaughan said. "That's part of racing."

Keselowski was leading when a caution came out with two laps to go because Stephen Wallace spun after tangling with Matt Kenseth .
Wallace banged into Kenseth's car after the race and the two had words on pit road.
Keselowski held onto the lead through the overtime segment.
